Offered up for sale in this listing are our Contessa / Duchesse / Tsarina / Imperatrice Ultimate Dragon Canes. We augment the already finished dragon rattan by soaking in linseed oil and give it a nice glossy sheen with high grade poly gel and wrap them in leather handles (top grain or kangaroo leather).
These are specially imported rattan with long nodes , higher density, beautiful skin sheen and slightly stiffer than Kooboo Rattan Canes. The original English School Canes were crafted out of this type of rattan, now rare due to export restrictions. This rattan is very durable.
The Tohiti punishment cane. Supplied in 32" or 36" lengths. Available in a 15mm diameter, with a Red, Purple or Black 3mm paracord wrapped handle.
Our OTK canes are usually about 55-60 cms and OTK stands for “ Over the Knee”. They make for excellent beginner rattan canes and we offer these in various individual canes, pairs and multi-cane sets in both Kooboo and Dragon Rattan.

This is a hand crafted natural kooboo rattan punishment cane and we call it 'The School Matron' due to its stature as an implement that might have adorned the hands of school matrons and school nurses during the Victorian era as a suitable implement of correction especially for taking their miscreant charges over the knee to administer correction.
We offer the British Traditional School canes in 4 different thicknesses (see dropdown selection) with a traditional crook handle. Our British School Classic Dragon Canes come in waxed finish in a natural beeswax + carnauba based wax. Classic Dragon Canes: They are our bread & butter dragon canes.
