As udyr you should be able to duel rammus easily with just BC/botrk and a qss and/or mercs. Just remember to leave him alone until Rammus' W is over then go back in and whale on him with tiger. Udyr's W will actually help a lot vs Rammus as well, you might even be able to fight rammus when his W is on depending on how strong you are.

This item doesn't just counter Rammus, it also counters thornmail because it gives you magic resist and attack speed. Even Master Yi, a champion that Rammus should counter, can build this item and turn into Kai'sa. MR in general - obvious
18 Δεκ 2022 · As a former Rammus OTP, the best thing you can do to counter a Rammus as an ADC is let someone else fight him. He will always be frustrating to fight against. For you. Let a mage fight him. Disengage from him every time. I see too many people try to fight me, only to run away with 10 hp. Run away with more than the damage smite will deal to you.
What counters rammus? By far, rammus is the worst champion to play against for me, I cycle through champions to get a win on each, and on rammus I got it first try and it wasn't even close. If I pick anything ap, he goes to me with 1000 ms, taunts me and kills me, same thing with anything ad, as he can just build armor and it also buffs his dmg.

12 Σεπ 2022 · If Rammus dies it’s a good thing because it means the enemy dedicated too many resources to kill him (and presumably they died while trying to do so) If your jungler is strong early game, they need to invade invade invade. Rammus is just a cc not until he gets going, so delaying his spikes can help to prepare.
11 Δεκ 2022 · When people say "Rammus counters yi"nowdays they mean Rammus distracts yi with his taunt, while his 4 team mates dogpile him 5v1. When people back in the day said "Rammus counters Yi" they meant it, Rammus rolls up into Yi's jungle and beats him 1v1 solo bolo, and Yi runs from Rammus all game every game.
BUT, and it's a BIG but (÷ >), if Rammus goes Aftershock or Lethal, buys Skirms with Bloodrazor enchantment, Bramble, and Ninjas it's over for Yi. I know. It sounds dumb as hell. But hear me out; Rammus can out AA Yi for a long ass time. Once again you are probably not convinced. I don't blame you.
8 Δεκ 2022 · Rammus has a kit that directly counters auto attack heavy champions, since his W reflects damage and he has a taunt on his E that forces opponents to auto him. Rammus has a very quick and easy trade where he will Q to proc aftershock, W+E and deal tons of damage. Rammus also naturally likes to build a lot of armor since he scales well with it.
