3 Φεβ 2010 · The iPhone DevTeam has just confirmed that their newly released jailbreaking tool called redsn0w 0.9.3 can be used to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 2G on firmware 3.1.3, provided that you have jailbroken it previously at least once.
1 Φεβ 2010 · These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 3G on the 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 iPhone firmware using RedSn0w for Windows. If you are already on firmware 3.1.2, do NOT update to firmware 3.1.3.
If you rely on an unlock for your iPhone and still want to run and jailbreak the latest iOS version available, you can use RedSn0w, PwnageTool or Sn0wBreeze. All three tools will allow you to update to a newer firmware and jailbreak it while preserving your baseband, which is the key to your unlock.

Here is the list of supported devices: iPhone 2G. iPhone 3G (only unlocked ones) iPod Touch 1G. iPod Touch 2G (old versions, serial number does NOT start with “MC”) There is no unlock for firmware 3.1.3, so be careful.
