26 Δεκ 2006 · Remington messed up the first 4,000 504's and ruined the reputation of a great rifle. The good news is that Remington has been very responsive in fixing the problem children when you identify and describe them.
The 504 series is Remington's entry in the deluxe rimfire rifle sweepstakes. These rifles are designed to compete with other upscale rimfire rifles, and perhaps most of all with the Ruger M77 rimfire series. 2 Ιαν 2007 · The stock on the Remington 504 in this sporter format is a beauty. Perfect dimensions that complement the metalwork and give the humble rimfire that big-gun feel. Well balanced, the 504 comes to the shoulder very naturally and instinctively and has excellent pointability.
15 Απρ 2019 · According to my log, the .22 LR delivered 5-shot groups at 50 yards measuring from .60 inch with Eley Tenex and averaged .90 with high velocity stuff. The Model 504 is a good gun and I’d mount a good quality scope – something like the Leupold VX Freedom 3-9×33 EFR. Remington Mod’ 504 action detail
Hi all, new here and wanted to know you think about the 504 Remington in either .17M2 or .22LR. I have heard about some twist rate problems in the early versions, but other than that they seem like fun rifles. Are they worth the coin or is there a nicer bolt action out there for less moolah? 22 Φεβ 2017 · It was a good rifle, with no bad habits, and good accuracy, if not so good trigger. When I wanted a new .22 for woods rambling, I thought of another Remington. I am going to be brief, as I have an appointment soon. I bought a 504 some years ago (10) as it was simply the prettiest .22 in the gun shop.
