Learn about the history, schools, and programs of Riverside Elementary School District #2, one of the oldest school districts in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1872, the district serves over 800 students in two campuses: Riverside Traditional School and King's Ridge Preparatory Academy.
Riverside Traditional is a Performing Plus school dedicated to achieving academic excellence. Our motto is "Excellence in Education" for all students. We are proud to have all of our teachers "highly qualified" and SEI (Sheltered English Instruction) and ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsed.
