Round Barn Farm is home to the historic and county-landmarked Round Barn completed by John C. Baker in 1898, constructed of wood salvaged from the 1893 Chicago World’s Columbian Exposition. The 20-sided polygonal barn remains one of the largest round barns in Illinois.
The barn is considered to be one of the few remaining circular barns in the United States and stands as a testament to the ingenuity of early 20th-century farmers. The museum offers visitors a glimpse into the daily life of Illinois farmers during the early 1900s.
