25 Οκτ 2017 · The Ruger P91 is the Ruger P89, but in 40 cal. It was only made in 1992, 1993, and 1994. The P93 is a compact version of the P89 with a four inch long barrel and a smaller slide and frame.
25 Οκτ 2012 · I bought a P91 back in 93/94 and probably have less than 50 rounds through it. Absolutely LOVE this pistol but am in the process of obtaining CCW. The P91 is just too big to carry concealed.
8 Απρ 2023 · You're right, the P91 was only produced for 3 years (about 25,000 per year/75,000 total, IIRC). Plus, Ruger has never seemed to like promoting cartridges associated with competitors; 40 caliber P-series barrels were marked ".40 AUTO" rather than .40 S&W, and recently they dropped that chambering entirely.
