MCAS Miramar is located approximately 15 miles north of downtown San Diego, near I-15 and the town of Mira Mesa. The installation is close to the Navy ships that our Marines deploy on (Navy Base San Diego), the areas in which our aviation units train (MCAS Miramar), and the ground combat troops we support (Camp Pendleton).
