Decided to visit Sandia Lakes today February 17th 2020. Arrived only to find it closed until further notice for Restoration. Should have really checked this out on the website before visiting! This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
Operated by Pueblo of Sandia, the Sandia Lakes Recreation Area spans around 20 acres of water surface comprising of three lakes fully stocked up with fish. Fly fishermen can enjoy a serene atmosphere at the Catch and Release Lake.

The Sandia Lakes is owned by the Sandia Pueblo. It cost us $3.19 total each to experience the park. We did not fish for trout but that's the main attraction here.
