Established in 2017 and formerly knowns as the Visiting Faculty Chair and then Visiting Faculty Co-Chairs as of 2020, these positions engage SAB alumni from diverse backgrounds and career experiences to enhance the studio experience for Intermediate and Advanced students and expand the pathways and pipelines for future SAB faculty.
Carrie W. Hinrichs joined the School of American Ballet as Executive Director in September 2017. She brings to SAB more than 20 years of experience in school administration and nonprofit fundraising, as well as a lifelong passion for ballet.

The School of American Ballet (SAB) is the associate school of the New York City Ballet, a ballet company based at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The school trains students from the age of six, with professional vocational ballet training for students aged 11–18.
