Shaw Park is a 30-acre park in Clayton, Missouri, a near suburb of St. Louis. The city's largest and oldest park, it is bordered by Forsyth Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway on the north and south, and Interstate 170 and Forsyth Boulevard on the west and east.
Shaw Park is the city's oldest and largest park. Mayor Charles A. Shaw first established this 47.47 acre park in 1935. With a welcoming canopy of majestic trees and open grass areas, as well as lovely gardens, Shaw Park offers a respite from the bustle of the city.
Great place to relax or have your kids play. Has a sculpture area, a playground, several picnic spots with grills, a waterfall with a stairway beside it that empties into a pond. 10 Απρ 2024 · Shaw Park serves as the hub of all of Clayton's outdoor activities. You can technically find the Center of Clayton indoor community center on the far west side of the park. It houses basketball courts, a pool, a rock climbing wall, and more.
