29 Νοε 2013 · Social skills training is an approach to improving interpersonal functioning, based on the principles of social learning theory and the shaping of behavior through successive approximations to the desired goal.
The model identified four major skills: (a) problem definition and formulation, (b) generation of alternative solutions, (c) decision making, and (d) solution implementation and verification (D’Zurilla & Goldfried, 1971). These skills will be described in more depth.
