HARDWOOD LUMBER PRICE LIST. At Hearne Hardwoods, we sell rough sawn, random width and length lumber. Listed below are the species that we typically have in stock.
Indiana is well known for fine quality White Oak, Walnut, Cherry and Poplar. Other species include Ash, Basswood, Hickory, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, Red Oak, Sassafras and Sycamore. Please view our stocklist for items available for shipment.
We produce kiln-dried slabs in walnut, cherry, hard maple, ash, oak, and some other species, when available, that are from 1.25 to 2.25 inches thick, 8" to 24" wide at the narrowest spot, and 4 to 12 feet long.
Soft Maple lumber is inexpensive and was commonly used for upholstered furniture frames. This particular grade separation would also make an attractive, rustic paneling.
At Maley & Wertz Hardwood Lumber, we know the value of your product hinges on the quality of our materials. No matter which species you order, our team of NHLA certified lumber inspectors will examine the hardwood closely, ensuring you get the wood your business expects.
Surfaced 3 sides, two smooth faces and one straight edge for optimal lumber yield. An S&B grade in soft maple, it is commonly referred to as silver maple, red maple and box elder. The sapwood in the soft maples is considerably wider than in the hard maples and has a lighter heartwood color.
