Southwark Bridge (/ ˈ s ʌ ð ər k / ⓘ SUDH-ərk) [1] is an arch bridge in London, for traffic linking the district of Southwark and the City across the River Thames. Besides when others are closed for temporary repairs, it has the least traffic of the Thames bridges in London.
Connecting the districts of Southwark and the City, located respectively on the south bank and the north bank of the Thames, in London, the Southwark Bridge is a road bridge (800 ft long by 55 ft wide), made up of 5 arches, relatively uncrowded compared to other London bridges crossing the Thames.
