Span America Boat Co. and Fort Dodge Boat Co. (both located at Fort Dodge, Iowa - side by side actually) combined forces to make boats for Montgomery Ward for a short time period. The boats were badged as Montgomery Ward's SEA KING brand.

What company made the boat: Span America Boat Co. (at what location?) OR Span Boats, Inc. (at what location?). This may help narrow down the year.
5 Νοε 2012 · I need some serious help. I own a Span America. Year/model unknown. My dilemma is that I'm selling it and I have no idea of the value. I have had three offers. Two were really low but last was rediculoslly high.
This is an incredible FULLY restored 1960 Span America Skiette 16' Classic Boat. It has a fully restored 1978 Johnson 70hp Outboard motor that provides well enough power to move along at a nice cruising speed on the lake. This fiberglass boat was meticulously restored from the hull and transom.
