The Spirit Witnesses of Truth The Holy Ghost is a revelator. He is the Comforter, who teaches us “the truth of all things; [who] knoweth all things, and hath all power according to wisdom, mercy, truth, justice, and judgment” ( Moses 6:61 ).
Thou hast been enlightened by the Spirit of truth, D&C 6:15. The Book of Mormon contains the truth and the word of God, D&C 19:26 . The Comforter was sent forth to teach the truth, D&C 50:14 .
Holy Ghost. Testifies of Truth. The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead. He is a personage of spirit, without a body of flesh and bones (see D&C 130:22). He is often referred to as the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Lord, or the Comforter.
The Holy Ghost grants us revelation “in [our] mind[s] and in [our] heart[s]” (D&C 8:2-3). As the “spirit of revelation” or “spirit of truth”, the Holy Ghost “enlighten[s] the mind” with light and knowledge and opens spiritual eyes to “see and understand the things of God” (D&C 11:13; D&C 76:12).
We should learn to discern the truth not only through our rational minds but also through the very still and small voice of the Spirit.
13 Ιαν 2013 · If you follow the Spirit, your personal search for the truth inevitably leads you to the Lord and Savior, even Jesus Christ, for He is “the way, the truth, and the life.” This may not be the most convenient way, but it will be His way—the Savior’s redeeming way.
13 Σεπ 2011 · To constantly receive the Spirit of Truth, our lives must be filled with truth and honesty. As we become completely honest, our spiritual eyes are opened to increased enlightenment. You can easily understand how this spiritual strength lifts our learning in the classroom.
