SLPPS is a nationally recognized suburban public school district. We serve approximately 5,000 students. Our district and the City of St. Louis Park boundaries are nearly identical. Both public entities work closely and collaboratively to support residents of all ages.

About the School Board. The Board of Education is made up of seven school district residents elected at-large to serve terms of four years. The board is the governing body responsible for setting direction and providing support for quality educational opportunities for all students served by the St. Louis Park School District.
St. Louis Park High School is a place where 1,500 students are seen, valued, and become their best selves as racially-conscious, globally-minded contributors to society. We are committed to creating an anti-racist environment that provides all learners with the tools and support they need to succeed.
The St. Louis Park School District, Independent School District 283, is home to seven public schools serving about 4,200 students in grades K–12 students. St. Louis Park is the only school district in Minnesota in which every public school has been recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education.
