The main issue with Suno is that the "Style of Music" field has a very limited number of characters. It's not easy to provide a thorough prompt. So for this method, we basically only use it to describe the toplevel genre and vocalist type and then use the Lyrics field to put the main prompt in.
13 Απρ 2024 · Suno could disable your account to prevent you from using their service, but they can't stop you from monetizing your songs. Or even other people's songs. There's no legal precedent except that AI-generated media cannot be copyrighted.
Art is subjective, and the emotion and purpose is still created by humans. It seems like you haven't tried the "tool" before making this rash judgement, otherwise you would realize that, for now, you still need to be able to write good lyrics (ai generated lyrics suck), and be able to arrange well crafted song structure as for now AI only creates fairly generic song structures, but has the ...
Personally, I think Suno is great at making formulaic music, but like with image-generating AI, it suffers from a lack of creativity. I don’t think it will be pioneering any new genres, just like Stable Diffusion/Midjourney/Dall-e aren’t really capable of creating a new unique style (unless you count mixing existing styles).
25 Μαρ 2024 · On the custom mode you can generate lyrics before creating a song, you can input your own lyrics and have the AI make edits to them, leave them like they are or even make prompts for the AI to generate the lyrics based on what you describe.
1 Ιουν 2024 · As of now, at least in USA, the AI generated music cannot be copyrighted, However, Suno AI music creators can still implement some copyright safety. The important thing is to use your human written lyrics using "Custom" mode in Suno. Then at least you can claim copyright on the lyrics. What does this mean?
28 Ιαν 2024 · I've experimented with many styles of music and I believe I've invented sub-genres in doing so. This software is AMAZING it has sharpened my vocal delivery in my NON-AI music and broadened ideas for rhyme patterns and layouts. You can literally mash-up 10+ styles of music i.e "Haunting g-funk horror doom trap r&b" CRAZY!
The thing I love about it most is finally being able to hear what music people have had inside them all along and were never able to get out. It's the same with image generation and people who otherwise would never put pen to paper. That AI can provide creative outlets for everyone is something to really be celebrated.
16 Ιαν 2024 · Sorry I am used to helping people with AI stuff for image and text gen, assumed the music gen community was as helpful lol. I should be clear that I dont play with music gen for anything other than a bit of fun (same with text and image). I spent a good while searching for DAW in relation to music ai gen and open source code etc.
9 Απρ 2024 · The more you play with how to write the lyrics with little (ooh, oh) type stuff and giving the AI prompts like [Break] and [Drum Intro] and [Bridge] and stuff like that to delineate different pieces and parts to the song, the better it does at creating what you want.
