The film is referenced as a series of photo indexes (mosaics), each of which consists of a single-sheet composite of many individual photos.

A 1958 image shows the farmland before EROS was built. A 1976 photo shot during a flyover shows the center, entrance and exit roads, and a parking lot. A water tower and wastewater ponds supported the large amount of photo and film processing needed for the earliest remotely sensed imagery.
