3 Νοε 2017 · Posted November 6, 2017. Looking at the URL on the screenshot, you're downloading the current stable. What you need to do is go into the Windows Defender Antivirus settings. Somewhere in there you should be able to create an exception, possibly on some sort of white list, for uTorrent.exe. Once done, uTorrent should download just fine.
5 Ιαν 2013 · Torrents that I download usually save to a downloads folder I have, but somehow the directory has been changed from that downloads folder to "c\". I attempted to download a small file and will provide a screenshot to let you know what I mean below.

Every time I download a torrent,usually a big file,uTorrent shuts down my PC, and then it (my PC) restarts,but when I pause or stop the download my PC doesn't shut down. I have looked at the FAQ and the incompatibility software section,I use Bitdefender internet security suit,which is not incompatible.

Just exit utorrent, switch off what you want, start your computer and restart utorrent - and utorrent will continue all your torrents.
24 Νοε 2019 · There are a lot of "modified" versions of Utorrent 2.2.1 with malware attached to them. Utorrent no longer distributes version 2.2.1 - so anybody downloading that version is getting a copy from some unreliable, unauthorized source who is most likely baiting you with downloading their "special edition" which has malware attached to it.
20 Φεβ 2014 · Just started my laptop an hour ago and utorrent was gone from my desktop. Gone from my Program Files. Gone from Start > All Programs. I did a global search of my C: drive and all I found was the installation file. I've got hours and hours of content that I have not yet archived in utorrent. I"m despairing.

HDD ss 2TB --> local download torrent file. uTorrent version 3.41 and default setting After I add torrent to uTorrent for download, Within a minute uTorrent, browser, OS is crashes. I download to HDD and file size 20GB+ with speed < 200kb/s. I run uTorrent as Admin it problem.

Then I tried downloading the same torrent in my phone using the utorrent app, as soon as it has created the files, I cancelled the download. Then I deleted all the files inside the created folder and then I transferred the files from the PC to the folder created in the phone.
