29 Φεβ 2024 · You may be eligible to apply for an eTA (instead of a visitor visa) if you’re a: Citizen from select visa-required countries and you’re travelling to Canada by air. However, you still need visitor visa (not an eTA) when arriving by car, bus, train, or boat, including a cruise ship.

15 Απρ 2024 · As of March 16, 2016, an eTA is required for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. Citizens of visa-exempt countries and territories are generally able to visit or transit through Canada with a valid passport and without obtaining a visa for a period of up to six months.
