Clerk of Court. The Clerk of Warren Municipal Court is appointed by the Administrative Judge. The duties and tasks of the clerk's office are governed by the Ohio Revised Code and prescribed by statute. The office is the repository of all pertinent case documentation of public record.
All public records are available in the offices of the Warren Municipal Clerk of Courts during regular business hours.
The Clerk is responsible for all filing activity associated with civil, domestic relations and felony criminal cases in the Common Pleas Courts as well as collecting legal fees, deposits, probation fines and court costs.

The Warren Municipal Court has jurisdiction over the City of Warren, Warren Township, Howland Township and Champion Township. The court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor and traffic cases, as well as preliminary felony hearings, civil cases up to $15,000 and small claims cases which do not exceed $6,000.
