16 Φεβ 2016 · When logging into wechat on a PC, you normally load the wechat webpage where there is a QR code. This must be scanned via the wechat client on your mobile phone. The client must be for the user attempting to contact you, it is their PC link to wechat. The user will be presented with their chat window (with their contacts listed).
30 Μαρ 2021 · My Wechat Web still worked beyond this point.. But then last summer I went to Mainland China again.. And I recall Wechat asking me to update their software since it detected I was on the mainland.. And my next guess is that, it's never gone back since then, meaning, the Mainland China version of WeChat is what doesn't allow Wechat Web...

Closed 6 years ago. From what's evident on the WeChat Developer Site, there is a WeChat API for integrating "WeChat SDK with your iOS and Android apps". Specifically, I am looking for a way to check to see whether two accounts are friends on WeChat (I have access to the login information for one of those, the other of which varies).

Clicking the link in a Whatsapp or SMS message first opens an intermediate web page in a browser. That web page then contains a button to launch the miniprogram. Unfortunately it seems the API is not available to individual developers.

When normal user send a message to the official account, wechat server will post a XML package to your preset URL, and you may store the data into your database for further analysis.
