23 Οκτ 2024 · Windows widgets is present on my Windows 11 taskbar and is updating the 2 widgets that have been installed months ago. However, when I click on the + button to install new widgets, the circle just keeps spinning without showing any new widgets. I have tried all the steps outlined previously when the Windows Widget is not working to no avail.
27 Σεπ 2024 · My widgets do in fact work and pop up, but they do not allow me at customize or add any new ones. If I click on the settings gear icon and select "discover new widgets", I just get a blank area with a spinning circle. Same happens if I just hit the plus sign at the top.
6 Σεπ 2024 · Widgets cannot be uninstalled through traditional methods as they are part of the system. But, you can disable or hide them if you want to. Sometimes, resetting the Widgets feature can help resolve issues. You can do this by going to Settings then Apps and open Apps & features, finding Widgets, and selecting Advanced options to repair or reset it.

3 Αυγ 2021 · I see that Windows Widgets takes up 130 MB of RAM in Task Manager, even though I've never opened it and never will. I just don't need it. I have a low power Celeron processor with 4 Gigs of RAM and cannot afford that amount. On a previous installation of Windows 11 I uninstalled Edge using PowerShell and found that Widgets would no longer run.
