A new restaurant from Willie Mae’s Scotch House, called Willie Mae’s NOLA, opens today at 898 Baronne Street in downtown New Orleans.. New Orleans has been without the enduringly beloved restaurant since it closed following a fire in April 2023.
Willie Mae’s Scotch House was established in 1957 as a bar in New Orleans’ Historic Treme neighborhood. After a year, the bar was moved to it’s current location, which consisted of a bar, a barbershop and beauty salon in the front.
Willie Mae's Restaurant has the taste and sounds of New Orleans. There's friendly Southern hospitality and jazz playing in the background. The main entrees are made-to-order so they can take 15 mins to prepare.

Originally opened in 1957 in the Tremé neighborhood by Willie Mae Seaton operating as a bar, beauty shop and restaurant. [1][2] After one year to their current location at 2401 St. Ann Street in the 6th Ward.
