Willow City is an unincorporated community in Gillespie County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community has an estimated population of 75 in 2000. [3] The 1905 Willow City School was added to the National Register of Historic Places in Texas on May 6, 2005. [4]

11 Απρ 2022 · The Willow City Loop is your chance to escape the day-to-day and wander into a bluebonnet-studded paradise. This is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the Hill Country. This drive, once known only to locals, has become a sought-after jaunt for pretty spring wildflowers.
Willow City Loop is a popular 13-mile scenic drive filled with rolling hills, blossoming meadows, charming creeks, and deep green valleys. This drive is filled with the bright colors of Texas Hill Country.
Expect lots of traffic and don’t expect lots of areas to pull over and park (but there are some). From Fredericksburg, head north on State Road 16 (Llano Road) for 13 miles to Willow City, then east on RR 1323 for 3 miles, then left onto the “Willow City Loop”.
