WIND HORSE, a 25.45 m Motor Yacht built in New Zealand and delivered in 2005, is the flagship of Kelly Archer. She is the only FPB 83 model. Her top speed is 14.0 kn and she boasts a maximum range of 6200.0 nm when navigating at cruising speed, with power coming from two John Deere diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 6 guests in 3 staterooms.

5 Αυγ 2010 · FPB 83: Wind Horse. Wind Horse rides the fjords of Svalbard to 80 degrees North. It is 1930, Norwegian summer time. We are located at 79.35 north latitude, a little over 600 miles from the North Pole. Behind us lie the Svalbard Islands, midway between northern Norway and Greenland.
FPBs offer exceptional sea keeping and vast range – the FPB series has been developed from the original 83 foot FPB WINDHORSE which Steve and Linda designed and built for their use after the sale of their iconic record breaking 80 foot ketch BEOWULF.
WIND HORSE has steps up to a matrix deck – secondary steering and seating area situated above the Great Room.
