29 Αυγ 2012 · Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Intel Core i5 - 2500K 3.3 GHz. 24GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM. Sapphire 5770 Flex GPU. Windows & all software running off 64GB SSD. Data stored on 2 x 1TB Hard drives . Most days my PC freezes up and the only thing I can do is hold down the power button and do a reboot.

This might fix your sleep/suspend problems and your random freezing problems. Bottom line is that the default and "auto" values in Win 7 and your BIOS might not produce a stable computer...even with a virgin install.

21 Αυγ 2019 · I installed Windows 7 in a 3-year-old machine. It installed successfully, took all drivers and running great, but every 5-6 minutes it freezes for a few seconds... 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then it comes back alive. I checked Event Viewer, but nothing matched the frozen timeline.
