23 Δεκ 2008 · "The Wrestler" is about a man who can do one thing well, and keeps on doing it because of need, weary skill and pride. He wrestles for a living. Pro wrestling is a fake sport, right? Yes, but as an activity, it's pretty real. I watch it on TV with fascination.
Mickey Rourke meets redemption in Darren Aronofsky's "The Wrestler," one of 2008's truly great films featuring one of 2008's most iconic charactrs, Randy "The Ram" Robinson (Rourke). I'm honestly not sure if Rourke becomes Ram or if, in ways both direct and indirect, he actually is Ram.
