19 Οκτ 2017 · I'm thinking about buying a used 2011 WRX Hatchback because I love the way they look, they're great in the snow, and they're sporty. The one I'm looking at specifically has about 110,000 miles on it, buying from a dealer. I've never owned a Subaru, so I can't be too sure about quality and reliability besides some internet research.
The WRX tranny will not like more than 330~ hp/ tq. The "6MT" of the STi is used by many drag racing teams pushing 800-1000hp. Rigid chasis/ suspension- the car feels "tighter" and more "in tune" with the road on the whole. While this may make the drive a bit more bumpy, you feel the road significantly better.
2006-2007 was a good run. During the same time we also had turbos across the range including the Legacy Spec B. If you mean motorsports it was 1995, the only year Subaru won both the manufacturers' and drivers' title in WRC. 2002 the “bug eye” is my favorite.
5 Ιαν 2022 · The STI has hydraulic power steering while the Type R doesnt. Naturally I get more feel of the road from the STI's steering rack. Objectively the Type R is a better car. Its faster, holds more shit, gets better MPGs, has a nicer interior, built better (my sti rattled like crazy), and rides better.
12 Σεπ 2021 · Tire size choices for STI on 18x9.5 +38 Wheels. 2019 STI, stock suspension, no fenders rolled or pulled. Trying to decide between 245/40, 255/40, 265/35, and 265/40 tires. 245/40 is closest to stock diameter, but it's a little stretched on a 9.5 wheel. 255/40 seems to be the most common.

WRX or STI. 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX Limited - $12,995 - CarGurus. or. 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Hatchback AWD - $16,970 - CarGur. So im looking for a manual and found both of these, I like the color and style (hatchback) of the sti but do yall think it worth it over the wrx considering the miles and everything.
21 Φεβ 2019 · BlackPuppersMatter. • 5 yr. ago. The WRX is plenty good for autocross, and is actually better classed than the STi I think. By that I mean you'll have a better car relative to your class with the WRX. The STi competes against Corvettes and things like that, its still competitive, but more mid-pack in its class. 6.
4 Αυγ 2021 · In this category it seems that the WRX reigns supreme, but I would love to at least have a few more options to look into. My requirements are: Manual transmission. AWD or FWD (AWD highly preferred, my area gets decent amounts of snow) Good aftermarket support. 35k on the high end price wise, preferably closer to 30-32k (planning on 15-18k down)
20 Ιουλ 2018 · the answer is no. The problem right now, is that there's no longer any hatchback WRX or STi. Only the sedan exists. Which drives the Hatchback from last generation prices up. The 2008-2014 sedan are less expensive than the 2008-2014 hatchback on the market because of that, there's no 2015+ hatchback.
