22 Μαρ 2011 · The 18 megapixel Canon EOS 600D (called the Digital Rebel T3i in North America) is a new DSLR camera that sits above last year's 550D / T2i at the top of Canon's entry-level EOS line-up.

The EOS 600D sits at the top of Canon’s entry-level range but includes several features from the ‘pro-sumer’ models. Positioned between the popular EOS 550D and EOS 60D, the keenly-priced 600D has the same 18 megapixel CMOS sensor as these cameras and the same DIGIC 4 image processor.

17 Μαρ 2011 · The new EOS 600D brings no improvement over the 550D other than a few features. The two sensors perform exactly the same, and show the same persistent noise problem in dark areas at low ISO speeds, preventing it from achieving good dynamic range metrics.
31 Μαρ 2011 · The 600D offers progressive HD video capture at 1080p resolution and 30 or 25 frames per second, or 720p resolution and 60 or 50 frames per second, with the available frame rate dictated by whether you have switched the camera to NTSC or PAL video mode. There's also a 24fps option for 1080p irrespective of the video system you've selected.
