Reopened CapCut site & clicked on "log in through mobile app", which brought up a QR code Followed directions on phone w QR and that opened pro on desktop. Hope this helps!

CapCut has some nice features for a free editor and I use it for quickie edits where I don't care to deal with DaVinci Resolve, which is free but looks intimidating to new users. I don't know what features justify a purchase of the Pro version, other than multiple video tracks and extra transitions and effects.
