Artifacts (not to be mistaken with Artifact) is a feature introduced in August 2023, adding a new piece of gear with its own slot. This new feature is quite straight forward and in-game intructions provided by developers pretty much explain everything perfectly.
An Artifact (not to be confused with Artifacts added in 2023) is a trophy earned for completing a quest area, or (in the case of the Atlantis map) completing a certain alchemy recipe. They have no in-game effect, and serve primarily as a way of marking progress through the quest areas.
When you say Artifacts, are you meaning the gift Mystery Artifacts? Or the Peace Offering type gifts? The Peace Offerings are pretty much useless aside from the Energy Potion and it's really not worth the expense IMO.
27 Φεβ 2024 · Please note this is the second time people are telling you to active it on the artifact page. On web3: Keep -> Equipment -> Artifact tab (scroll or cycle to the right most artifact) and activate it.
