12 Νοε 2020 · Since Steinberg doesn’t seem to provide any info here on the forum about the new way you have to activate your product (Cubase), I hope, maybe this will help: If you are getting the error “e-Licenser version too old” you are probably trying to activate using the Download Code, which won’t work!
With an unused Activation Code you can activate your software right after the installation. After entering the code in the eLicenser Control Center (which will be installed along automatically with your Steinberg software), the license will be downloaded and stored on your computer or a connected USB-eLicenser (dongle).
Serial numbers and installation codes for older Nuendo, Cubase and HALion versions. The following chart shows serial numbers resp. installation codes that can be used for installing the according program versions. Registration of the listed software requires a USB-eLicenser (USB dongle).
11 Ιουν 2022 · If you must have a pre-Cubase 12 edition, your best bet is to find a Cubase Pro 11 licence that has not been upgraded to Cubase 12. That will run any version of Cubase using the USB eLicenser technology up to any including version 11.
