What does it cost to sell on eBay? eBay charges Basic Fees such as Insertion Fees and Final Value Fees. An Insertion Fee is charged when you list an item on eBay. If the item sells, you're charged a final value fee. Final value fees are calculated based on the total amount of the sale and are charged per item.
