The Elizabeth Line provides a high-speed connection between Heathrow Airport and central London, complementing the existing Piccadilly Line service but with different routes and stations. This new line enhances city transport options by offering faster and more direct travel across several zones.

Serving Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, the Elizabeth Line now connects Heathrow with Central London, East London and Essex, along with Reading via changes. From 22 May 2023, four Elizabeth line trains per hour will run directly between Terminal 4 to Abbey Wood via Canary Wharf.
