28 Ιουλ 2020 · If you a problem with Epic Games Launcher downloads/updates like slow downloads or making your PC crash then this might help you. After lots of research I found a solution for this problem. The reason that this happens is because of HDD, the epic games launcher will download and install at the same time and HDD is making it very slow even when your install location is not in HDD.

Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem. It’s a safe application that launches games. It’s no different than gog or uplay or steam in that respect, just has less features. Reply reply.
12 Ιαν 2022 · JesteR1701one. I tried that but it looks to me that there are 2 different cloud save files. One for each computer because when I start the game on one it only detects the cloud file that it created for that computer. I do use the same epic account on both computers so I have no idea why it’s doing it.
17 Αυγ 2021 · it installs. where u tell it to. when u click on a game to download it asks where u want to install. by default i think its in C. U can see it in settings page. Program files. C:\Program Files\Epic Games. Try downloading another game and see the location where it is getting downloaded lol.

9 Απρ 2021 · For anyone who wants to download maps from Steam and use them with Lethamyr's loader, install and set up the loader (link) before following these steps: Go to the Steam page of the workshop map you want. Copy the URL and paste it into https://steamworkshopdownloader.io/. Hit the green download button.
After clicking resume, Epic will start verifying the game. Large games can take a while to complete. Step 5,6 is the most important step to trick the launcher to think that it's the same folder. This will work for people who is experiencing Epic doesn't allow resume after pause download and exit normally. Reply reply.
21 Αυγ 2020 · Start the install from the launcher. It will ask you to "Choose install location". Select the base Epic Games folder where your game files are already installed. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games. It will then show that path and add the game folder to the end. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ShadowComplexRemastered.

Right click on the game in the taskbar and then open the file location or properties to make sure that the games are running from the new drive. Once you are sure and everything is working fine. Delete the old files and empty your drive. 2.
