27 Μαΐ 2024 · I bought a gen 3 19 as a backup just to run against my favorite Glock 19 gen 5 with my preferred Night fission sights and talon grip tape and carefully selected beavertail grip installed. Gen 3 was stock with plastic sights and finger grooves which I hate. Results…no freaking difference at all on the clock 🤣.
22 Μαρ 2021 · The magazine release on the Gen 5’a are larger than the Gen 3. Gen 5 has a match grade barrel, beveled muzzle (both slide and frame), slightly flared mag well, ambi slide release, no finger grooves, better texturing and four back straps. And of course the front slide serrations. The RSA is dual and not the straight rod.

4 Μαΐ 2024 · The only complaint with the G19 Gen 5 is perhaps an overly stiff RSA and the "U" shaped grip cut out which Glock rectified already on the grip rear from early Gen 5 models . The only Gen 5 Glock I own is an early G19. The pistol has been 100% reliable with every brand and type of ammo I've fed it.

Additionally, a 10mm is very different to learn optics with than a 9mm (live fire). And as others have said, the gun works the same with the optics cover in place as a non MOS model.
17 Δεκ 2021 · 11865 posts · Joined 2020. #6 ·Dec 18, 2021. The Gen 5 G19 (also 45 and 19X) can use the Gen 4 dual recoil spring, or even the G23/G32 recoil springs if you so desire. You can even use the Gen 3 captured if you have the adaptation. The Gen 5 appears to have a slightly longer (extra coil) outer/large spring.
15 Ιουν 2021 · You will need to modified the lower to fit the Gen 4 and 5 upper, and buy an adapter to use a Gen 3 recoil in a Gen 4/5 upper. The recommended lower to do this is a Strike 80 frames or P80CL because the internal walls and front openings are a bit thicker vs a standard P80 frame. Those frames will be challenging to find now, and maybe pricey.
24 Ιουλ 2018 · Finally we have the 47021 ejector. This ejector is what is currently shipping with the G26 gen 5, G34 gen 5, and 19X. Why the 17 and 19 gen 5 still ship and are still specified to have the 30274 ejector, along with the gen 3 still having the 336 ejector is a bit of a mystery.
12 Ιουν 2022 · The EPS and EPS carry both say they utilize the "k footprint". None of the OEM glock MOS plates are 407/507k footprint compatible to my knowledge.
