This tutorial is an overall guide for Mining. It has been designed by the Mining Cult, whose discord server can be found here. There are some certain topics that are necessary to get to grips with mining. Many, if not all, of the methods in this guide require Heart of the Mountain VII.
The Heart of the Mountain is a skill tree for Mining, unlocked in the Dwarven Mines. Leveling it awards Tokens of the Mountain, which can be spent on the various Perks found within the tree.
History. SkyBlock Mining. Mining is unique in Hypixel SkyBlock due to SkyBlock's custom mining technology. It introduces a variety of mechanics, including: Breaking Power, which determines which blocks Pickaxes, Drills or Gauntlets can break. Mining Speed, which determines how fast you break Blocks relative to its Block Strength.
Miner Armor is a Rare Loot(≅1%) item dropping from a Miner Zombie or Miner Skeleton in the Diamond Reserve or Obsidian Sanctuary. If it is received from killing a Miner Zombie and Miner Skeleton from the Obsidian Sanctuary, it will be enchanted with Protection V.
