IRODaT is The International Registry on Organ Donation and Transplantation. It is a database that provides worldwide information by country on donation and transplantation activity.
T he global database on donation and transplantation represents the most comprehensive source to date of worldwide data concerning activities in organ donation and transplantation derived from official sources, as well as information on legal and organizational aspects.
Eurotransplant is only responsible for deceased donor organ allocation, but living donor transplants within the ET countries are also registered in the system and reported here. Eurotransplant Registry collects data on recipient and graft survival after transplant, from several sources.
UNOS collects and reports data on every U.S. organ donor, transplant candidate, recipient and outcome. The data is used to study and advance transplant, inform policy development and help professionals make informed decisions.
The OPTN's secure transplant information database contains all national data on the candidate waiting list, organ donation and matching, and transplantation. This system is critical in helping organ transplant institutions match waiting candidates with donated organs.
