TL;DR - Tracked a crashing issue down to realtek audio driver. Generic windows 10 HD audio driver works fine. I'm wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue. (Or maybe this info can be helpful to others doing troubleshooting) This seems to be linked to a strange file included in the realtek audio driver package - mbfilt64.sys

11 Δεκ 2020 · I believe Windows Update 20H2 has rendered my Realtek Audio Driver to not work, and there seems to be no newer Realtek Audio Driver available. Either Microsoft or Realtek will have to release an updated driver to work with Windows Update 20H2. I wished I never installed the Windows Update 20H2.

3 Δεκ 2022 · My speakers, that work on Realtek(R) Audio, stop working every so often and after every restart/shutdown and startup. I can temp fix this by uninstalling the driver and removing the device from Device Manager and then scanning for hardware changes. When I do that the speakers always go to 67(when they stop working they always go to 100).
