Samara Osorio, better known as Samara Morgan, is the main antagonist of The Ring franchise, which was a remake of the Japanese psychological horror franchise Ring. She is the vengeful ghost of a young mass murderer and her character is based on Sadako Yamamura, who shares a similar backstory.
Character Overview. Initially appearing as a vengeful ghost, Samara's appearance is always the same -- a young eight-year old, brown-eyed girl with long brown hair that usually covers her face, although it can often turn a dark black. She wears a white, dieort-sleeved dress and at one point wore black shoes.
Samara Morgan. Daveigh Chase played Samara Morgan in The Ring (2002). Sadako was the main influence on Samara Morgan from the 2002 American remake, The Ring and its sequels, The Ring Two and Rings. She was played by Daveigh Chase, Kelly Stables and Bonnie Morgan, respectively.

The horses at the Morgan ranch went mad and drowned themselves, which supposedly caused Anna, a horse-lover, to become depressed and commit suicide.
Plot. Six months after the first film and the short film Rings, Samara Morgan 's cursed videotape has been circulating through Astoria, Oregon. Jake Pierce is on his seventh day after watching the cursed videotape. Desperate, he asks his friend Emily to watch it. While Emily supposedly watches the tape, he briefly steps into his kitchen.
