Personal pronouns (los pronombres personales) are small words such as yo, me, mí, tú, te, tí, lo, … They refer to people, things and concepts and can be used in place of a noun to avoid repetition. There are three types of personal pronouns in Spanish: subject pronouns, object pronouns (direct and indirect) and prepositional pronouns.

Con Exceptions. When used after the preposition con (with), three prepositional pronouns change form. con + mí = conmigo (with me) con + ti = contigo (with you) con + sí = consigo (with himself/herself) examples.

La preposición con lleva los pronombres de la 1ª y 2ª persona singular (mí, ti) incorporados: conmigo y contigo. Ejemplo: Me encanta comer contigo. La preposición a se usan con los pronombres de CI. Ejemplo: A mí me conoce muy bien. A mí me hace la comida todos los días.
