9 Δεκ 2013 · Issue. Your laptop has stopped responding and you cannot shut it off or turn it on. Resolution. Performing a soft reset. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds or until the laptop shuts off. Press the power button again to turn the laptop back on. If this does not resolve your issue then try performing a Hard Reset. 19 Αυγ 2020 · the battery is almost certainly exhausted. you have two options: a) always run it on AC power b) buy a new, replacement battery
Faulty Battery. If the adapter's indicator light is on, and the device will only turn on while it's plugged in, or only initiates start-up ( fans whir and the power button lights up, with no screen activity) when it's plugged in, then the battery is faulty. This can be solved with a replacement.
