2 Ιουλ 2021 · The default network name is TP-Link_Extender or TP-Link_Extender_2.4GHz/5GHz. If your extender has an Ethernet port, connect your computer to the extender via an Ethernet cable, then try again. If you use a computer, make sure it is configured to obtain an IP address automatically.

Make sure your smartphone or computer is connected to the extender’s Wi-Fi. The default network name is TP-Link_Extender or TP-Link_Extender_2.4GHz/5GHz. If your extender has an Ethernet port, connect your computer to the extender via an Ethernet cable, then try again.

If the extender is connected to the router, you should go to your router's DHCP client list to obtain the extender's current IP address. A4: Reset the extender and connect to its wireless network, enter http://tplinkrepeater.net or http://192.168.0.254 in a web browser and press Enter.
The default IP address of the Access Point or Range Extender is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.0.254. It changes by model. Please find it out on the bottom label of the product. If you have the same IP address on your root/main router, you need to change the IP address of the TP-Link device to avoid the IP conflict.
