23 Αυγ 2020 · EDIT JAN. 2023: Here is what I believe to currently be the highest definition scans of the Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, and Final Doom boxes, specifically the GT interactive CD-ROM versions that have both the DOS and Windows versions of Doom.

GT Interactive Software was founded in 1993 and served variously as distributor and publisher for id Software's games Doom and Quake, a relationship which lasted until 1998, when these roles were shifted by id Software to Activision.
DOOM II: This is where things got interesting. I purchased this factory sealed, also a big box version from GT Interactive. Disks 1-4 functioned flawlessly but disk 5 would disrupt the installation before being read.
John Carmack has explained that it was always a secondary focus spearheaded by GT Interactive. [3] The plot of the new episode is indicated to occur between the events of the original game and Doom II.
