At 99 hp, 52 pray, 75 atk, 75 str, and max everything else, your max combat level will be 80. You will be able to equip the toxic staff, ags, etc. The toxic staff is the most OP weapon against other pures. And 99% of the lvl 83 and below pures you fight will not have a toxic staff.

the advice in here is god awful for the most part lol. for starters dont listen to the "keep str 10 lvls below range" its wrong. Always follow this formula: Strength + Attack = 1.5*Range (or mage)
At level 65 Defence, for a hefty cost, Defence pures unlock their fastest training set-up (for the level).
