2 Φεβ 2019 · IF that's the case, you should be able to convert any 10/22 Magnum to 17 with a barrel change. IF you're talking about converting a standard 10/22 (22lr) to 17 hmr, you will definitely need a new receiver, since the 17's are significantly longer than 22lr.

2 Δεκ 2007 · With a 10/22M, the conversion is essentially a drop-in replacement conversion (simple barrel swap and stock change if a bull barrel is used). There are a few problems with this conversion, however, the most significant of which is that Ruger discontinued the 10/22M about 3 years ago.
20 Ιουλ 2012 · Pull out one of your Rugers with a known barrel length. The only way you will get the known length is to measure it to the face of the cylinder. Ruger measures their barrels to face of the cylinder. I'm not saying the barrel isn't shorter.
