The 10 dimensions of string theory are, a priori, not "coiled up" or anything else. They are derived for a string theory where the classical version of the string propagates in d-1 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension, i.e. Minkowski space $\mathbb{R}^{1,d-1}$.

11 Δεκ 2014 · A universe of 10 dimensions. by Matt Williams, Universe Today. Superstring theory posits that the universe exists in 10 dimensions at once. Credit: Piner at Caedes.net.
My hypothesis would posit that the strings of the 9th Dimension have their own space-time (the surface of the third sphere), making quantum particles that have their own space-time (the surface of the second sphere), and the particles that quantum make are in our space-time (the surface of the first sphere).
5 Αυγ 2012 · Six of the dimensions of the string theory are emergent in the Yang-Mills theory. In this chapter we suggest how these dimensions and local physics in these dimensions emerge. The discussion is aimed at non-experts.
15 Σεπ 2021 · It's a world of 10 dimensions, with some curled up at a microscopic level and some "big" dimensions that we perceive as "real." A world where the distinction between space and time is spurious (as taught by general relativity).
29 Ιαν 2014 · Ten Dimensions. According to string theory, all of reality exists in (exactly) ten dimensions. There are four revealed dimensions (the three dimensions of space together with the fourth dimension of time) and an additional six concealed (spatial) dimensions.
It covers the following topics: The Popular View of Extra Dimensions, Einstein and the Fourth Dimension, Traditional Extra Dimensions, Einstein's Gravity, The Theory Formerly Known as String, Warped Extra Dimensions, and How Do We Look For Extra Dimensions?
