When you log into Roblox, you'll see a gray chat box located in the lower-right corner of the screen. Click this box to reveal the chat menu as seen in the image below. Here you'll have a list of your friends, chat groups, including the ability to play together with your friends.
Enter a name or click “Start a Chat” to create your room. Send your room link to the people you wanna Talky with. Start Talkying together! Talky is the easy way to connect with friends and family. Rather than using a personal account, Talky uses unique URLs that you can share with those you’re meeting with.
Join room from your desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Once in room you’ll be given three options: 🍀Feeling lucky - match with another random Robloxian in a private room and make a new friend! 🏠Host meeting - you can create a new meeting and share its invitation code with your friends! 🦺Is room safe?
To chat with friends in the app, follow these instructions: Open the Roblox App; In the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, select the chat icon: Select a friend, from the Chat icon, or a group, from the Groups icon, with whom you would like to chat and a list of friends or groups will open. How do I start a new chat group in the app?
To enable voice chat, follow the instructions below: Go to Account Settings; Go to the Privacy tab; Under Microphone and Camera Input, toggle the “Use microphone to chat with voice” selector to ON. The toggle will turn from gray to green, indicating that voice chat has been enabled for your account.
